José Luis has been a Musikene professor since its creation in 2001. You can study with him both Bachelor in Musical Performance and Master in Musical Performance (Clarinet). José Luis is also a professor of Chamber Music and Ensemble in Master studies, conducting the Musikene Master Ensemble.

We are proud to announce the release of Kammersymphonie, the latest recording by the ensemble Fin du Temps, now available on Spotify via IBS Classical.
This compelling album features works by three towering figures of early 20th-century music: Arnold Schoenberg, Hanns Eisler, and Paul Hindemith. Each composer offers a distinct and daring vision of chamber symphonic writing, reflecting the intense creativity and turbulence of their time.
The ensemble Fin du Temps—formed by renowned musicians José Luis Estellés (clarinet), Clara Andrada (flute), David Apellániz (cello), Aitzol Iturriagagoitia (violin), and Alberto Rosado (piano)—delivers electrifying and refined performances that bring new light to these modernist masterpieces.
This Ibs Classical CD is Estellés’s 5th collaboration with the label, and there will be more releases soon.

José Luis Estellés has participated alongside with pianist Alberto Rosado and other prominent Spanish soloists (Clara Andrada, Robert Silla, Miquel Bernat, David Apellániz, María Zubimendi) in the recording of all duos by the outstanding composer Jesús Torres.
José Luis Estellés has been a champion of Jesús Torres’s much esteemed music, conducting, commissioning, premiering and recording several of his pieces.

José Luis Estellés has recorded the 20th century’s masterpiece for this instrumental combination, the “Quartet for the End of Time” by Olivier Messiaen, in musical partnership with Aitzol Iturriagagoitia (violin), David Apellániz (cello) and Alberto Rosado (piano). Together with the Quatuor, this CD includes iconic Quatrain II by Toru Takemitsu.
